CALL FOR 2022 CONFERENCE SESSION PROPOSALS!

Video Trust is looking for topics related to film and media librarianship, especially those that are practical or that highlight our 2022 conference themes of innovation, collaboration and preservation.

We welcome both individual presenters and panels and are open to presentations from librarians, filmmakers, distributors, and all those related to our chosen field. Most sessions will be expected to be around one hour long.

The deadline for proposals is Friday, July 1, 2022, and can be submitted HERE.

Christian Lear and Tucker Taylor will present and discuss Lear’s Journal of Copyright in Education and Librarianship paper "Controlled Digital Lending of Video Resources: Ensuring the Provision of Streaming Access to Videos for Pedagogical Purposes in Academic Libraries," which examines a current crisis within media librarianship regarding the challenges for academic libraries in providing streaming access to video resources despite the growing need for users to have streaming access.
